Option to ignore (sub)forums

A feature of this site which I find very handy is the "New Posts" at the top of the screen. It gives an opportunity to quickly see what new threads there have been started. However, I'm not interested in all the subforums which are available on Trade2Win.

In my opinion it would be great to be able to select which forums you don't want to show up there. This is a big and growing forum, and I guess that most visitors are not interested in all trading styles and subforums. Such a filtering option also reduces the "overload" of new posts if a person doesn't visit the site regulary, because there a lot of new threads added daily. Sort of an option just like there is for an individual thread, the "Ignore this thread" option.

Recommended T2W Trading Strategies

every now and then, newbies come along and start asking for a strategy to use.
as a general rule, we try to help out by listing a set of rules that seem to have passed muster here at T2W. I know I generally list NewtronBomb, Capt Currency, Trader_Dante.

All are different styles, so something should click.

They have also survived the battering of the cynical and experienced T2W vanguard.

And, in addition, they are freely offered.

Would it be beneficial to have a one-stop thread that listed (via mod-controlled thread pointing to the system thread) the best T2W trading systems, to save newbies the time-consuming and money-sapping hassle of being ripped off?

some kind of poll, or a minimum of votes from experienced members as a means of entering the T2W "Trading Hall of Fame"?

Private threads

I wander if it would be possible to create a subforum for the private threads. They are on the main Forum list atm and there seems to be a kind od disproportion, especially when some of them have not been used that much. I do believe that there is a case for the private threads and it might be a good idea to make some space to increase their numbers.
