UK price/volume r/t feed and spreadsheet

Hi,

Does anyone know of any software for the downloading of UK stock data (price, volume, sector, etc.) in approximately real time, and that has a spreadsheet capability of creating algorithms between the various fields. I'm looking for a solution that's not too expensive for the moment because I simply want to try out some ideas.

I've searched on the web and I find packages that show standard indices and graphs, but not with the capability of creating presonal indices.

Maybe there's a plugin for MS Excel somehere?

I'm currently working through an analysis of some trades and I could really use the intraday data from 14 and 15th Oct. If anyone could export those data sets and send them to me - or let me know where I could get them from, I would be very grateful.

back-adjusted data goes negative for HG Copper

I've got 10 years worth of EOD data from CRB Trader and their software for compiling continuous history for backtesting is great, with one exception:

for copper, the back-adjusted price series is negative all the way up to 2004.

Checking out what to do on this, the best solution would be to add a constant to all the data so the whole series is lifted above zero.

But the CRB Trader software won't do this.

Does anyone recommend software for compiling continous history?

Or perhaps a different but similar volume market that doesn't have this problem? I'm already using Gold, but not Silver - thought it correlates to Gold too closely.

hi many said that yahoo eod data is flaw and not gd but does this imply csidata is lousy too if yahoo is powered by them?
